Jen Huber

Jen Huber paints landscapes and figures in acrylic paint, usually featuring avian friends. Classically trained in Fine Art at University of California, Santa Cruz, Jen Huber has filled her life with drawing and painting and shares her enthusiasm with students at the Bothwell Art Center, throughout the year. She has completed over 10 public Art work pieces in Dublin and Livermore, including three Utility Boxes, She is a cofounder of Casual Dublin Plein Air, a weekly art meet up, and received several awards for her paintings and drawing. Jen will be sharing be demonstrating Mary Cassatt, Alice Neel, and Faith Ringgold during Open Studios, May 4 & 5.

Jen Huber Classes

After School Art Class

For students age 8 and up, starting with drawing, black and white, moving to color, using a variety of materials and mediums. Each session will feature a famous artist, movement or local professional. This lesson is a balance of individual expression and learning the language of visual arts. Curriculum is followed through the Calendar. All supplies included.

Beginning/Intermediate Art

New to Art? Back after a long hiatus? Afraid to start something new? Beginning with drawing in pencil & charcoal, progressing to color pencil, pastels, multimedia. acrylic paint, and finally, to oils. Visual Arts basics, color theory, representational and abstract will be covered. Curriculum is followed through the Calendar. All supplies included.
