Christine Watters

Christine Watters is a textile and mixed media artist living in Livermore California. She has expanded into mixed media as a result of her explorations in using fabric and thread in non-traditional ways. Christine plays with whatever catches her fancy... dye, print, stitch, paint. Fabric and paper, thread and pens, are interchangeable. Sitch on paper. Draw and print on fabric. Thread and pen both create lines. It is a matter of knowing the desired outcome. Her work focuses on ordinary life, interpreting the moments that bring connection and joy. Christine loves to share what she does and introduce others to the incredible, versatile world of textile arts.
