Local businesses and a couple of arts groups have teamed up with artists to provide display venues for the local arts. Download the Downtown Livermore Art Stroll map and explore. Participating businesses and organizations include:
The Bankhead Theater: The jewel of the Livermore performing arts groups, the Bankhead Theater provides formal arts displays in its lobby and Founder's Room areas as well as a local visitors center displaying the work of local artists.
Bothwell Downtown Art Studios: A fun, eclectic mix of artists, the studios are periodically open to the public so artists with studio space can show off their work.
Ryan's Automotive Service: With friendly service and owners who love the local arts, stop by and say 'hi' and just take in the view of the local art scene displayed in their lobby.
Panama Bay Coffee Company: A busy coffee house, with a kick-back attitude, where people linger over coffee and a newspaper or just sit and chat with friends. Come by or a snack and a beverage and see the art of both established and emerging artists.
Berkshire Hathaway Home Services: A strong supporter of not only the visual arts but of poetry as well, Cher Wollard has a wide variety of art from the local community displayed in her real estate office. You are welcome to stop by her office, whenever it is open, and view the art.
Livermore Art Association Gallery: The oldest, and at the moment, only art gallery in Livermore, the Livermore Art Association Gallery, known affectionately as the LAA Gallery, displays the work of artists from throughout the Tri-Valley and beyond.
